Customize, Simplify & Organize This Spring With Bobbi Brown

“The Customize.Simplify.Organize system is designed for women to customize their makeup and be their own makeup artists. It’s an easy way to take less, but have more.” – Bobbi Brown

Launching this April, Bobbi introduces her new Customize.Simplify.Organize Collection. The collection which focuses on Bobbi's customizable palette system; brings ease to life allowing you to pop all your must have Bobbi faves into one compact. So imagine -- long gone are the days of scrambling through the bottom of your purse for your favorite lippie or ransacking your drawer for your go-to foundation. Now you can store these plus other items such as eye shadows, blushers, powders, and more all in one palette! This is perfect for those who are a bit challenged in organization department and even better for those gals like me who desire not to carry each day, and at last leave behind their 3lb makeup tote (Yes! as much as I downsize, what I drag around everyday is still weighing in at 3lbs - NO JOKE!).

Accessories for the Customize.Simplify.Organize Collection include:

Bobbi's popular Foundation Stick [Compact Version] ($22.00); which for a limited time only will be available in compact form! This compact version also includes three additional, new shades in Cool Beige, Natural Tan and Warm Honey. Although they come in mirrored compacts, they are designed to easily pop out and fit into one of Bobbi's palettes!

Bobbi also introduces her new limited-edition Lip Quad ($20.00). This quad covers all bases featuring four combos of lipsticks and lipglosses handpicked by Bobbi herself that's perfect to take on the go!

Bobbi is also introducting two new shades to her Shimmer Blush Collection ($22.00); Pink Coral and Plum Wine which can also be popped out of their compacts and into the palette.

Lastly, Bobbi has created a Lip Crayon Trio, featuring three of her popular Lip Crayons in Naked Pink, Pink Raspberry and new shade Sugar Blush and a custom size sharpener. The perfect gift for the woman on the go, Bobbi’s Lip Crayons offer the luxurious feel of a lipstick and the ease and convenience of a pencil. Each set will retail for $50.00 for a limited time.

Keeping Up With The Times - M.A.C. Presents Colour Ready

Colour Ready is the newest innovative collection from M.A.C. that is set to debut in North America on April 2nd. The small collection which sheds light on a few permanent color items; revolves its selling point and focus around its new featured items: Prep + Prime Line Filler ($19.50), Prep + Prime Skin Refined Zone ($19.50), and Prep + Prime Transparent Finishing Powder ($21.00). With the expansion of M.A.C.'s Prep + Prime line, you can now expertly create a flawless base which in turn eases your application process; and ensures longwear and positive results.

All three items, are designed to not only keep up with the demands of high-definition and modern technology, but to also continue to cater to the more mature M.A.C. consumer which has grown and aged with the brand since inception. Let's fill you in on these three showstoppers, shall we?

Prep + Prime Line Filler ($19.50); is designed to fill sensitive areas targeted with fine lines and wrinkles (think crows feet and frown lines). This concentrated formula, is silicone based and will fill those areas and bring wrinkles and fine lines to a level - making for a much more even and smooth application surface for your makeup. Although it doesn't completely diminish their appearance 100%; it will indeed lessen their visibility by a great amount and make them much less noticeable. So if targeting wrinkles is your thing; then this may be your next target purchase!

Prep + Prime Skin Refined Zone ($19.50); is one item that M.A.C. artists have been raving about continously backstage at past Fashion Week seasons. It's a soy-based emulsion that's specifically designed to target the T-Zone and other oilier areas along the face. It's lightweight and oil-free and goes hard at work as it minimizes the appearance of pores while helping control oil-excess and shine. It keeps the unwanted face oils at bay resulting in a long lasting, matte-finish, which appears natural and flawless.  This reminded us a lot of Estee Lauder's top selling Idealist Pore Minimizer Skin Refinisher; but we happened to like this one a lot more!

Prep + Prime Transparent Finishing Powder ($21.00); is a translucent powder that can be worn both before and after makeup application. This silky powder reduces shine and maintains radiance due to a finely milled blend of corn starch, silica and micronized mica. Though it was designed to set and stabilize makeup, it can also be worn alone over moisturizer for a natural and radiant complexion. As it minimizes pores to become almost invisible, it is perfect for high definition filming and other camera-based mediums. It was also a huge hit backstage during fashion week and was used at nearly every major show including Zac Posen, Badgley Mischka, Stella McCartney, Behnaz Sarafpour, Alberta Ferretti and Giles to capture those flawless finishes.

Rock & Republic Cosmetics : Final Thoughts, Opinions, & Impressions

I have always been a sucker for luxury items, I mean seriously...who isn't?! And, when it comes to makeup, my fascination for high end lines obviously always reigned but once you've owned, tried & tested everything; that fascination seems to come to a plateau and suddenly everything that thrilled you over the moon is now just "eh...okay".

So when I heard last year that Rock & Republic was to launch their own regal line of cosmetics, I didn't know whether to be thrilled or skeptical. I mean it was like, here's a denim company to which I've supported many, many times by purchasing their $300 jeans but what can they possibly know about makeup? I mean, sure they make some killer jeans that make any butt look perfect but, makeup? Huh?! For some reason this just didn't click in my thoughts -- it just didn't register. And, then when I heard about the $275 bronzer that they were launching, that's when I was like 'WHOA BUDDY!'. But somehow, this skeptism sparked curiosity and suddenly I was intruiged - intruiged because I just had to get my hands on it. And I did. :)

The line has done what it is set out to do:

...reflect Rock & Republic’s trademark combination of rebellious style and sophisticated femininity, channeling the ultimate femme fatale with bold colors and sleek design.

So how would I sum it up if I had to? ALL OVER HOTTNESS!

I was seriously blown away at just how amazing everything in Rock & Republic line is. Yes, pricy items indeed but seriously I would go ahead and say that they are worth every penny - maybe you can skip the pricey bronzer though. But seriously, Rock & Republics Cosmetics are fabulous times ten!

Here's a quick guide on the items reviewed:

Rock & Republic Limited Edition Eye Color Trio in Scene 2

Rock & Republic 'Saturate' Eye Color in Chain Link

Rock & Republic 'Luxe' Lipgloss in Cougar

Rock & Republic 'Extremist' Mascara

Rock & Republic 'Exhibition' Pressed Powder

Enjoy!
