What A Weekend!!! (Quick Check-In)
Monday, June 9, 2008 at 07:28AM Hello my lovelies! I just wanted to do a quick check in with you all to let you know that I am still around! This weekend was quite an eventful one. Not only did NYC get hit with the stickiest heat wave (yes 95 plus temperatures all weekend long!) but yesterday was also my big sis' bridal shower...finally! I was super busy all weekend long preparing for it and really didn't have anytime to do anything else, especially makeup related, but I will get back on the bandwagon very soon, just bear with me while I recoup because I am super worn out! I did however manage to pick up a brand new train case! My others are all full!!! 
Anyhow, the shower was wonderful. It was planned by my sister's best friend and I and honestly without her I would have been completely lost and would have never known where the heck to start! Thanks D!!!!
As for my sis, I guess you can say its a bittersweet feeling. I'm both sad and very happy at the same time that she is getting married. Sad because it makes me realize that we are no longer little girls anymore and that those days of our childhood are long gone and will no longer return but I am very happy because this is what we as little girls dream of. Regardless, she is my big sister (yep, 7 years apart!); and I wish7 her the best (as I mentioned to her yesterday) today, tomorrow and forever.
