REVIEW: Sally Hansen Line Smoothing Airbrush Primer

I'm an avid lover of Sally Hansen's Airbrush Legs product, but had mixed feelings when they first introduced their Airbrush Makeup line a few years ago. Well I just noticed that they have added the Airbrush Primer to the line, so I decided to give it a try.
For starters, just like their Airbrush Makeup, this is NOT an item that is sprayed directly onto your face. You actually have to spray it onto your hand or sponge and then blend into the skin. Sorry but the "airbrush" claim on this product, or for this entire line rather, is far from what it really is.
Product Description
- Fills in fine lines to help skin appear visibly smooth.
- Weightless formula with Retinol and Anti-Oxidant Vitamins smoothes skin's texture.
- Minimizes the appearance of pores.
- Helps reduce redness and moisturizes for hours.
- Optical diffusers help skin look younger and incredibly flawless.
- Perfect for all skin tones.
- Wear alone or under makeup.
- Dermatologist Tested - Hypoallergenic - Non-Comedogenic.
When I sprayed the product from the aerosol can onto my hand I really did not like the texture. It looked like bubbly milk and smelled weird. I applied it on my face and found it difficult to blend as well. Once I completed the application I was not left with a velvety skin surface like primers are supposed to do, and also my skin still looked visibly oily in certain places. I applied my makeup as usual, and found that it wore off through the day as if I had not applied any type of primer whatsoever. In addition for those with sensitive skin, you may find that this product may also sting as well.
Thus, this was not what I expected it to be and nope I will not be buying it again. I will continue to stick with my M.A.C. Prep + Prime as my primer of choice!

Whew! Thank God I didn't buy the airbrush makeup or the primer by Sally Hansen!
It looks sticky. Glad I did not buy it.
